I am the proud owner of Daystar Interpreting & Translating Services for the past 20 years, and a North Carolina Master Certified Court Interpreter with 18 years’ experience serving the NC State Courts and, more recently, the NC Eastern District of the United States Courts.

While I currently work as a freelancer, I have also worked for the NC Administrative Office of the Courts as the first Staff Court Interpreter in Buncombe County as well as a Court Management Specialist for the Office of Language Access Services.

With my diverse experience, I am able to render professional language services to legal professionals and limited-English proficient consumers alike, in a variety of settings, including a courtroom, detention center, deposition, or virtual platform.
